Pomegranate

Pomegranates are drought resistant. It can be grown in areas with an altitude of 1000 m, between the tropics and 40th latitudes, where the Mediterranean precipitation regime is effective. It can withstand cold down to -10 °C. Annual precipitation of 500 mm is sufficient. If the plant, which loves plenty of sun, is watered intermittently in summer, the yield increases.
